So, 30 people died in mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton over the weekend. As the very easily drawn line was being connected between the El Paso shooter's screed - many lines pulled directly from Trump Tweets and speeches - the Racist-In-Chief's cadre of minions took to the airwaves to defend him, deflect blame to video games, lack of prayer, and drag queens, and try to distance him from his own worst enemy - HIS CONSTANTLY SPEWING FACIAL ANUS.
Then, in an appearance that no one believed, a heavily made up Trump stood with hugely dilated pupils and attempted to read scripted words of admonishment and compassion in between sniffing, smacking his lips, sticking out his tongue, and slurring. Oh, the stable genius also said "Toledo" instead of "Dayton".
Not a single word was genuine. Not a syllable heartfelt. And the entire farce was as hollow as his collection of empty Adderall bottles.
The cretin does not get credit for setting a fire and then calling 911. His constant words of racist hate, misogyny, and religious tyranny have sparked what is now a roaring fire of white supremacy across this country. Not that the embers have ever truly died out, but with the advent of his winks, nods, gestures, and coded words in every rally, Tweet, act, and speech - those embers have turned into flames that threaten to engulf more innocent lives.
That media outlets played it as if his painful-to-watch speech was owed any credence whatsoever is shameful. That people started in with the "give him the benefit of the doubt" bullshit is sickening. This creature basks in the glow of his supporters violence. His rally rants only get worse as he is encouraged by the cheers and shouts of "Shoot them!" and "Send them back!" And his White House dwelling sycophants like Stephen Miller live to egg him on to even greater acts of aggression against immigrants, DREAMers, asylum seekers.
To every editor who approved a ridiculous headline, and every sanctimonious and gullible person on social media, I present to you your "compassionate" "changed" "shook" "unifying" president.
That took about 24 hours for him to return to organic form and pick right up where he left off. Trump is a piece of shit in a skin suit. Beto O'Rourke (so nicknamed since childhood) is mourning with his city, with the people he knows, grew up with. Yes, he has been blunter than any politician since the shooting in regards to Trump and Trump's accountability - and it has been refreshing as hell to see. His words have been raw, they have been emotional, they have been based in the reality of the world in which we now live with Drumpf at the helm.
Yes, Drumpf, you phony, stone throwing asshat. Remember YOUR real name? People in glass houses...
Beto and other Texas politicians, especially those in El Paso have made it clear that Trump's presence is not wanted today. After years of him inciting the violence that occurred, they do not need him flying in to throw emotional paper towels at them. But he cares not. Flying to El Paso and Toledo Dayton on Air Farce One is nothing but a photo op. He will use victims, doctors, police to make himself look like some great hero, when he is the one who started the fire in the first place.
But given who he is, what he is about, that sounds about white.
And even as he wings his way to these bloodstained cities, his emboldened MAGAts continue his works across the land.
In Houston, completely tone deaf, ignorant police officers led a black man through the streets with a leash attached to his handcuffs. The horrific historic undertones are bile inducing, yet there they were. Only when the photo went viral and the outcry from decent people was thunderous, did the department promise to discontinue this practice.
Sounds about white.
Fox's resident frat boy, Tucker Carlson, who nightly espouses the same racist rhetoric as his orange hero, took to the airwaves to defend Trump and declare that white supremacy "is not a real problem in America." Um, Patrick Crusius put paid to that little notion of yours when he drove 9 hours to kill 22 people in a Walmart, then telling arresting officers he wanted "to kill as many Mexicans as possible."
Tucker Carlson: White supremacy is "actually not a real problem in America." Calling white supremacy and issue is "a hoax" and "a conspiracy theory used to divide the country" pic.twitter.com/ydzmJ0L7UI

Then there is this gem. This is Curt Brockway of Montana. This past Saturday at a fair, this piece of garbage threw a 13 year old boy to the ground, causing temporal skull fractures, seizing, and bleeding from his ears for six hours - the child had to be airlifted to a hospital in Spokane. The boy's crime? He had not taken his hat off during the National Anthem. Brockway told all around that he "had every right to do that" because the boy was "disrespecting the national anthem."
Fuck Brockway and fuck any person who holds a song so sacrosanct that they would put their hands on a child and inflict potentially deadly harm. I am so sick of the hypocrisy at play when it comes to the flag, the anthem, and pledge. I have been to plenty of parties where NO ONE even takes a beat to face the TV when the anthem plays. At plenty of stadiums where getting a beer takes precedence over singing along. Have sat in many bleachers where grown ass men do not take off their hats for the duration.
This faux patriotism is another Trump construct. When Kaepernick began taking a knee as a form of silent, respectful protest, Trump blathered on at a rally in 2017, "Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, 'Get that son of a bitch off the field right now. Out! He’s fired. He’s fired!'"
But back to Brockway - despite still serving 10 years probation on a weapons charge and being a violent offender, he was released on his own recognizance by Judge Dale Malone.
Sounds about white.
Then we have #WaterparkWendy who this weekend, surrounded by children, screamed at a black woman, "bitch fuck you and go back where you came from."

Hmmmm, where have I seen that gesture, that ugly, vile grimace before?
But not to be outdone, a group of milksops who stomp for #TeamMitch, as in Mitch McConnell, proudly posed holding a cutout of Congresswoman Alexandira Ocasio-Cortez - groping, kissing, choking, and captioning their efforts "Break me off a piece of that."
When called out by Ocasio-Cortexz herself, McConnell's campaign responded with "boys will be boys." Oh, these little cocksplats attend Lexington Christian Academy.
Sounds about white.
All of this traces back to one person. Trump. He has given every baser instinct, every dark angel, every horrific prejudice the green light to lash out, attack, threaten, injure, and mock anyone they choose. Black people, Hispanics, LGBTQIA, Muslims, Jewish people, women - targets all. Entire groups targeted constantly by Trump.
As he makes his way today to places he is not wanted, places where he owns the blood that was spilled, the lives that were lost, don't be taken in by the act. Hell, it's not even a good act. Just a performance by a power hungry, egocentric, racist and narcissist eager for a few photo ops. Then he will fly back to DC, completely forgetting any of their faces, any of their names.
Because they never mattered to him in the first place. As they are laid to rest, he will be golfing again by the weekend.
Sounds about white.
It was obvious that Beto O'Rourke was emotionally shaken by this horrific massacre in his own city. I, too, was glad that he did not hold back in his assessment of that heinous creature currently occupying the Oval Office.
I almost never watch of video of the creature as I cannot stomach it; however, given the seriously of this weekends shootings, I tried. I made it through the first 3:39 minutes, when (He must have been choking on the words; they certainly were not his and I wonder how they twisted his arm to speak them) he said that there is no place in America for hatred, racism, bigotry, or white supremacy. No one, NO ONE, has proliferated these atrocities more than he. I wanted to vomit.
I hope when that when he walks of the plane in Dayton and El Paso he is roundly booed.
