Five years. Amazing. Five years since we had our first Homecoming Party when Culley was a sophomore and Kendall was a freshman.
How time flies.
Fast forward to last night, Carson is a sophomore, and the house was filled with a whole new generation of partygoers.
Sure there are still some crossovers - wonderful kids who are also friends with Culley and Ken, but who are juniors and seniors now, but on the whole, last night Carson shepherded in her freshman friends, all inducted into a "Party at the Sharps" by C and her sophomore circle.
Of course, with both C&K gone to college, the pressure to host it alone was pretty heavy, so Carson called in the help of Culley and Jesus who came in from A&M to be onhand to assist with the festivities.
Again, it is amazing to me how time flies. How long it has been since I introduced you all to my children, welcomed you into their lives, and have enjoyed sharing them with you.
They are all doing what the Sharp girls do - kicking ass. Culley is thoroughly immersed in her upper classes at A&M, Kendall just had her first Stat test at UNT this past week and got... a 100! And Carson is keeping things as busy as ever. She is currently juggling CATZ, training, games, reffing, schoolwork, and the female lead in the Fall show - The Three Musketeers - she plays Sabine.
And Rudy & I remain in awe of the incredible gift it is to parent these lovely young ladies.
Carson, in a dress that is simply - PURE CARSON
With her best guy friend, Colby
The boys - always woefully outnumbered by...
Culley and Jesus (who sat on the couch asking "Who are all these people?")
The requisite picture outside by "the rock"
Sophomores posing on the stairs
For Kendall - their "Where are you?" picture
Carson has pizazz, alright. Love the dress and I absolutely love that haircut. Glad all the Sharp-ettes are doing well in their various pursuits!

AWESOME pictures, Linda! I love, love, love Carson's hair...if I was 20 years younger and had gorgeous hair like hers I'd be sporting the same cut. She looks so mature! Have to admit some jealousy and a wee bit of teariness as I no longer have a girl at home to dress for Homecoming. Walked past all the dresses today at the mall and was overcome with nostalgia. The boy thing is just not the same...especially since he insists he is not going to the dance. Oh well...look at all the money I will save..it's all good :)

Once again, I am honored by being able to watch these wonderful girls grow up and to share in their triumphs via what you share here.
Carson's dress truly ROCKS

Great pictures! I had to laugh because for a moment, I forgot who Jesus was, so when I read that she asked for help from "Culley and Jesus," I was like, yeah, I ask for His help on a daily basis!! :-D

Thanks for sharing the pictures Linda. I miss those times with my girls. Carson is absolutely beautiful, and I love, love, love her short hair.

Absolutely LOVE Carson's dress - she looks so grown up! It kills me that those little girls you introduced us to a few years back have grown up so fast and all so beautiful (like their momma!) I love that all three are so close and seem to drop whatever they are doing to help each other...My older sister Chris was very close in age, but even to this day, we are so far apart - I can't imagine her dropping everything to help me if I called - Leslie is another story, but I always wished that my older sister wanted to hang out with me. I hope your daughters know how incredibly lucky they are. Thanks for sharing!
