I don't get misty eyed very often but, what an awesome story! Thanks for sharing!

Glorious!! And Carson's charming poster is a fabulous keepsake.

By the end I had tears streaming down my face. What a wonderful memory packed experience for all who got to go. Happy especially that Carson got her very awesome poster signed by Megan! I too love her style of play.

I am so glad everyone had a great trip. I spent 3 years in Germany (5th grade thru 7th) and they were amazing years. I know the girls will never forget the time they spent there. :-) I hope you recover from the jet lag soon. :-D

What an amazing experience for the girls and you, Linda. Thank you so much for sharing with us. I had goosebumps reading about the trip. I'm honored to "know" you all!!

What a wonderful experience for you, Carson and the rest of the Lonestar group. Truly memories for a lifetime, and hopefully ones that will never grow old, but only better in the telling.

Hope you enjoy a well deserved rest Linda!

Great description of your trip...and I enjoyed your updates and the photos. Sounds like you all had the trip of a lifetime. You didn't say, did any of you speak German? If not, were your interviews done in German or in English? Glad you all made it home safe and secure :O) Congrats to the Lonestar Group!

Glad you all made it back home safely - thanks for sharing the special memories with the rest of us!

Welcome home! So glad you had such an awesome time and made so many wonderful memories. It's so much fun to hang with great kids!!

So happy you had such a good trip... I was thinking of you when I would see the highlights on the news. Had hoped you would be there for the final tomorrow but I think the spleens will be just as happy watching at home! Jet lag can be a bitch, hope you are feeling more back on your feet today.

Awesome! Just Awesome!! I'm so happy for you all for your wonderful experience. And we even got to live vicariously watching the girls when they were shown on the tv during the Semi-final game. They were amazing ambassadors for USA youth and futbol.

Welcome back home, Sharps and Lonestar!
