I realize I'm a little late to the party on this one, but I just now took the time to watch . . .
This is the Macy's in Center City Philadelphia, which used to be the original Wanamaker's. If you are ever in Philly at Christmastime, stop in this store to watch the light show. It's phenomenal. They have an amazing organ and the acoustics in the building rival many theaters.
Go to wanamakerorgan.com for a schedule.

What an incredible scene.... I would have loved to have been there. Can you imagine the energy in that place?? I definitely got chills watching that. Thanks for sharing Linda!

That was really beautiful - that would have been something to see in person!

Amazing. Just amazing to hear it in Macy's of all places. This is the time of yr that Handel's Messiah gets performed by local chorus's and symphony companies. I remember seeing it every yr in HS, helped that my best friend's parents played in the local symphony and we got tickets pretty much free. It was always customary to stand for the chorus, and if you knew it to sing along. Good times Linda, very good times. Thanks for bringing that one back to the surface. It's been a good while since I've seen it performed.

That was wonderful and yep, cried as well.

Hate crying at work, but love the feel good feeling that left! Thanks Linda!

Very cool. I'd love to do something like that...tho it'd have to be with a large choir as on my own, I do not sing loud enough to be heard over the din of shopping...

Well, it did make me cry just sitting here at my desk and seeing how many sang along and knew the words. How uplifting to see that!

That would have made me cry if I had been there to see it live!
