Thank you to all of you. Sorry I made some of you cry but... fair's fair... you guys made me cry tears of happiness. My situation is becoming all too common these days and I never expected to be where I am. My family and I will survive this and bounce back. I know this because I know there are good people in this world. I am lucky in that I am recovering quickly and I still have a job.

Chicky - Sorry to hear about you accident. Hope all is well and you are OK. Had someone hit my truck last year... I feel your pain.

Linda - Thank you for sharing your wit and wisdom. Also for bringing together such a caring blogmunity that I am proud to call home.

Again, Thanks to all of you and I hope you have a blessed New Year.

Big, gentle HUGS to Chicky...the loss of a beloved car does hurt (I cried when my trusty Escort died on me.) I hope your bruises heal quickly.

Jim, I am so glad we (as a blogmunity) were able to help out your family. HOPE is a very special gift. My husband injured his back and I know how debilitating that kind of injury is. My thoughts are with you as you recover.

This too made me cry and I am so glad once again to be a part of this little corner of the internet.

Chicky - hope you are doing better - sounds like you had one doozy of a bad day. HUGS

Chicky is fine - just bruised as hell. (The Advil is really helping). Thanks for asking! My truck needs life-support badly tho :o(

ChickyChick...OMG, are you ok???
I'm so sorry. Please keep us updated!
On a side note, a friend of mine lost her home to fire on Christmas Eve! She and her husband escaped without injury thank God.
Why do bad things happen to good people??
Jim and family...you are in my prayers.

ChickyChick, I hope your day gets better, and you had no injuries from your accident.

Okay - I am not going to get through this day without crying as I hoped. I just got in a terrible accident and totaled my new truck - I did not cry. I had to go to the hospital for an EKG and X-Rays - no tears. I get a ticket for something assinine - still no waterworks, (angry tho). My hubby came right away and picked me up, gave me a big hug that hurt, but still no tears....then I get home, read this and I burst out in tears. I am very proud that we could help Jim and Ashley have a fantastic Christmas. This makes all my problems of the moment seem so insignificant.

PS Linda, I LOVE the engraving!

Perfect....beautiful. I am so blessed to know all of you, those who managed to help and those who received help. May this new year bring opportunities and blessings to all of you.
