I alluded to this yesterday, and while I knew in my gut that it was happening, I didn't know it until now.
The latest report regarding the authorities who had the grim task of removing the victims from Norris Hall last evening, states that during the entire process, from yesterday when they entered the building to when the removal and transport was done - the cell phones of all of the students and teachers who had been slain were repeatedly ringing and buzzing.
As I said yesterday, my heart breaks for every parent, friend and loved one who tried in vain to receive an answer, but only heard the endless ringing of a phone that would never be answered again.
So sad, and uncalled for.

Linda,
You consistently say what everybody thinks, but can't express. God has given you the amazing ability to touch our hearts with your words. I, along with many other I'm sure, are grateful to read your posts in these confusing and uncertain times. God bless you and your family.
