Happy 4th of July to you all! I hope you are all having a relaxing day and have fun plans.

Lovely sentiment - and backatcha! Take time to remember those who lost their lives in order to keep us free! <3

Skyped with Jonathan from Camp Leatherneck in Afghanistan today - my personal hero for this 4th of July.

well, yesterday certainly was a day to remember. Besides taking care of my son who had his wisdom teeth pulled on Monday, the morning started out with me, no classes on, seeing the dogs chasing something across the back yard near the side deck. When I got closer, I saw it was a large blue crab. No, I don't live near the ocean or even the St. John's River. I can only assume it "escaped" from someone's crab boil for the 4th. (that or from the skank hoe that has taken up residence in the foreclosed house across and down the street). Anyway, it ran under the deck and for the next hour or so, my husband worked to capture it, then took it for a drive to the nearest body of water. Hope he makes it. Then Ray decided to snake the kitchen sink and punch a hole in the pipe, so he spent the next few hours going to Lowe's and repairing that. What a fun day!!
