I have six pets. 1 dog, 5 cats. Yes, I realize that in some minds that pushes me dangerously close to "Crazy Cat Lady." So be it.
I love them. All. Even the one who pulls the covert pee action once a month. Their personalities are all completely different, and a day wouldn't be a day without enjoying each one.
Animals enter our lives and make them better, richer, more meaningful. Pets give without asking, love without strings, and comfort without condition. But part of welcoming them into your heart is knowing that one day you will have to bid them farewell.
It's a deal with the devil we gladly make.
I just received an email from Jackie. Please take a moment and help with her request if you can.
And Tonks? Enjoy that meadow on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge.

Hey Linda,

Jackie and Randy: So sorry to hear about your sudden loss. I'm not a cat person, but had the pleasure of caring for a neighborhood cat for the past several years that someone abandoned. With four dogs, I couldn't bring Puddy in the house, but we fed him morning and evenings and he spent most of his time sleeping on the front window ledge or in the bushes. Unfortunately, he became terminally ill a month or so ago, and we did what we could but on Saturday June 2, I had him put down because I didn't want him to suffer. I didn't realize how much I loved Puddy and would miss him running to my car every night when I got home. So, I can only imagine since you and Randy ARE cat people, that this is a very hard time for you. Just rememeber the good times with Tonks and that you gave him/her lots of love while he/she was here.
