For years you've all heard me go on about Carson's soccer. Well, with the recruiting process for college gearing up, we started having her tournament games professionally taped and edited for highlights a little under a year ago.
It's coming together well, showing her calm on the ball, how well she distributes, and her overall performance. Received the updated reel last night with some footage from Thanksgiving up in Dallas. Lori will recognize that slide tackle when she comes away with the ball and her shorts half up her crack. That was right in front of us. :O)
Anyhoo, just in case you ever wanted to see her in action. Here you go.
how cool is that?!! Not a big follower of soccer, but I'm amazed at the talent of players like Carson, who can kick a ball and have it go to the person they intended it to! Amazing! I'm sure she'll be able to get an offer for scholarship(s) to play at the college of her choice!

LOL!! Yes, I definitely remember the wedgie-tackle. I think there were several clips in there of games here in Dallas; I'm pretty sure I recognized the fields.
I know I've said this a million times, but watching Carson and her team play is such a JOY. I'm so grateful for the games they've played here in my area, allowing me to see first-hand what an amazing athlete Carson truly is and what a gift she has when she performs on the field.
My deepest regret is that I don't live close enough to see her perform on stage in the theatre. But I'll take what I can get!
