I have added a feature called a "Tip Jar" on the left side of the page. Like Yes, Virginia, this one is easily donated to through Paypal, but the idea being that if you really like a piece I write, you can toss in a "tip". A dollar, two dollars, heck, even 50 cents here and there can add up quickly. Seriously folks, if every person who enjoys the Idol recaps gave a nickel after each one? Whoa. (You may not all leave comments, but I know how many of you stop by during AI season!)
Since we use Virginia Funds predominently for Christmas gifting for children and families in need, I wanted to add a feature that can be used for ongoing donations to global causes like the devastation in Haiti.
I have received some donations through Virginia for Haiti relief and will be sending them to Partners In Health - an organization with a well established track record and 20 years of "feet on the ground" in Haiti prior to this disaster.
So, enjoy my ramblings, and from time to time if you really like what you read, throw something in the Tip Jar. If it helps, you can of me as your personal dancer around the pole of snark, and the Tip Jar as my virtual G-string. :O)

What a lovely idea!

I second that ChickyChick! Excellent idea.
On a side note - I KNEW that Linda would choose the best charity for the $ I wanted to give for the cause of helping those in Haiti.

Not a tip jar in the world large enough to hold all the tips you deserve for keeping us entertained! Excellent choice to receive our donations.
