For me, the holidays are not complete without that seasonal favorite, Instant ass inflator egg nog!
Rich, creamy, decadent, able to leap three pants sizes in a single pound (16 ounces)!
Well, as much as I love it, and DO indulge in the run-up to Christmas, it does mean hitting the treadmill a little more, a few more crunches, etc.
But wait!
What if I told you that you could indulge in the wonder that is egg nog, but with only 3 grams of fat?
Salivating yet?
What if I told you that you could combine your love of egg nog with your passion for frozen treats?
(Wipe your mouth.)
Ta Da!

Yes, Egg Nog Ice Cream Sandwiches! The girls and I stumbled upon them in WalMart last night and they are all the yum, with little of the guilt! Only 3 grams of fat per sandwich!
But hurry! Unlike those addictive Sara Lee Cheesecake Bites, this treat is a "Seasonal Selection" and will disappear like Santa and his reindeer after the holidays!

Why, oh why do you do this to us? First it's cheesecake bites, now this....

Linda, Linda, Linda. What is eggnog without pouring it into the holiday glass and adding either the Brandy or the Rum? Not to mention the scrape or Nutmeg on top???

I'm jealous, I've never been able to find the regular cheesecake bites, only the chocolate ones. :-( I will attempt to look for these, but I won't get my hopes up.

Oh my God! I passed by the eggnog in the supermarket today knowing that indulging was not allowed, otherwise I would drink the entire container. This I might have to try. BTW, eggnog is great with a little Grand Marnier! I wonder how that would go over the ice cream?

I had my first flash of luck at a local Target... my grocery only carried the chocolate cheesecake bites, too, but imagine my GLEE when I discovered the regular ones when I was on a routine Target run... :-)

UGH I guess I just can't get behind EggNog since the word Egg is there. I can't stand eggs, used to be I couldn't even wash a pan they had been cooked in without gagging the whole time. I'm not that bad now, but I'm still not eating eggs.
Taco Bueno has cheesecake chimichangas. Holy cow I wish I'd never made that discovery. They are sooooooooo good, and since we try to fry everything down here in Texas there's no quilt involved. LOL

Wish I had checked in here before I made my weekly WalMart run this morning. I generally avoid the ice cream aisle.
