Another IRL! Ame, Chicky Chick, & The Travel Gnome
I am so loving hearing about all the IRLs that are taking place, and I LOVE getting the pictures!
This past weekend, Kathy (Chicky Chick) and her clan met up with Ame and her daughter! And it was a virtual friendship immediately brought to life - they had a blast and were comfortable from the word Hey! Here are some snaps along with Kathy's descriptions.

Girls just wanna have fun - we inserted the Gnome into the shot and the girls just cracked up - the best part was, they welcomed DeDe into the fold like she was a long lost friend...

Brunch - We had brunch at the Ramada on Sunday - this is all of us - Front Row: Veronica's adorable son Josh, the Gnome, the very aerobic and darling Selina (Veronica's daughter), and the Fantastic Ame - Back row: Gorgeous, Funny Veronica, Me (with a very shiny face - arghhh), and Ame's beautiful daughter DeDe (who is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside)
And, just for fun - we all went back to Ame's room where Veronica showed us just how limber she really is!
~~~~~~~~~~~ I want you to know how much it means to me to read how DGMS has touched your lives and expanded your circle of friends. I am so glad this little piece of cyber real estate is booming - even in a bad economy!And last, little Selena, our DGMS/Gnome model who was absolutely tickled pink when I told her she could take the Gnome home with her!
Linda, I want to thank you for helping us to foster these friendships! It is wonderful to be geographically close enough to meet with people that have awed you online with their wit and humor. Although my time with Ame, Dee-Dee and Kathy was limited yesterday, I had a blast, and hope we can all get together again soon. Again, a big thanks for opening YOUR door to all of us here so we can exchange thoughts and opinions. Man, I love this place!

I ditto Veronica's comments completely - Veronica mentioned yesterday that she is attending a party next week - it just so happens it on MY STREET! I'm hoping we can get together again!
Veronica - make sure you show Selena her photo - I think it will make your little angel giggle with delight!
Can I just repeat that we had such a great time - I feel like I made some forever friends this week!

What a FANTASTIC weekend!!!!! It seemed like DeDe and I weren't going to make it - massive thunderstorms, road work, State Police, cute bikers - all keeping me from getting there, but once we made it - yeee haaa!!!! And it was like we were old friends!!!!! The gnome kept misbehaving and drinking all the Mikeritas, tho.......

Looks like Ame and Kathy are giving Linda a run for her "gee-my-hair-looks-terrific" title! That was the first thing I noticed about both ladies! Outdoors, in the sun and the heat, and they look marvelous!

Beagles are great now - Lucie was really sick a couple weeks ago - I thought I might lose her - but thanks to my mom (ex-vet), she got better. Thanks for asking! They didn't even jump on Ame & DeDe when the visited - I was very proud of them :o)
Funny, about the bad@ass attitude - I think it's in their little genes!
